About
Our Mission
The purpose of the BEF is to help maintain and enhance educational opportunities and programs for Berkley students. From academics to arts, music to math, social studies to science, every student will benefit.
Who Benefits from the Berkley Education Foundation?
Each and every student in the Berkley School District and the residents in our community served by the Berkley School District are the ultimate beneficiaries of the Berkley Education Foundation.
Through the generosity of our community and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers, the BEF has invested more than $420,000 into the Berkley School District since 2010. These funds have gone directly into the classroom through teacher innovation-grants, supporting STEM activities with the annual Maxfield Science Symposium scholarships, and enrichment programs in every school. The BEF also sends every 8th grade student from Anderson and Norup on a college tour annually. This tour allows students to begin to envision their own post-Berkley options. For many, it is their first time in a college environment.
The Berkley Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in 2000 by the Berkley School District.
The BEF is the fundraising arm of the District and is supported by a team of volunteers.

The Berkley Education Foundation Alumni Directory Project is underway. The BEF is working with Publishing Concepts to update our alumni information so the BEF/District can be more proactive in connecting with our alumni.
Emails and postcards were sent on the Foundation's behalf, with messages from Superintendent Scott Francis.
